Year-End Reflection of Creative Arts - Please everyone help

If you don’t mind please take 5-6 minutes out of your schedule to help us steer the boat. The more answers we get the better we can really see what and how people are using the space.

Please forgive me if I post this wrong. Even if you don’t use CA I would appreciate the input.

The list on question 3 isn’t formatted correctly, you can only choose one option.

I was able to choose multiple options (I think…)?

Wonderful idea! IMO, this is a “best practice” that I’d like to see some of other committees adopt.

What is the purpose of being added to the CA Committee Wiki Page?

I believe it’s just saying you stand behind it or feel apart of what’s happening or take some ownership of the running of that area. But, it’s just a name on a sheet. It means nothing really it’s your actions that set the standard.

In addition to the warm fuzzy feeling members may get by joining a committee  :dms:  , it also helps show that the committees are abiding by the rules: Rules and Policies - Dallas Makerspace

In particular:

  • #3. At least 5 members are required to form a committee.
  • #6. If the number of committee members drops below 5, the committee will have a grace period of 30 days in order to recruit enough members to remain active.
  • #7.1 & #7.2: Each committee will need to maintain a page on the wiki with at least the following information:
  • The name of the committee chair
  • A list of all active members

Just wanted to let you know I’ve gathered some really good information so far with the survey - 30 people have taken it since we put it up. Keep them coming!

I normally don’t put my name on things (just a quirk of mine), but since I’m sort of the de facto Babylock POC, I thought it would be easier for other folk to reach me if my name were on the list.
