WTB: 3.5" low profile SCSI hard drives 2017

What memory do you need? I have a small stash of old stuff.

“In comparison, the Pelican was a budget architecture utilising eight standard 72-pin Fast Page Mode SIMMs that were protected with longword parity instead of ECC, with capacities of 8 MB or 32 MB, for a total of up to 256 MB RAM. These were two-way interleaved, for a 64-bit-wide bus to memory.”

70-ns w/ parity, it appears.

And it’s projects like this one that make me want to get it up and running again:

Wow … some people are way more productive than I.

Hmmm… Don’t think I have parity in 72 pin… will dig.

When reading, you need to watch out for the year that the original thread posted.

I have a very old Dell P4 system. I think its SCSI hard drive is still in working condition I can donate my hard to your Macs if you are interested. https://www.allhdd.com/toshiba-hdepf20gea51-sas-hdd/

This thread is more than 5 years old and should have been closed when it was bumped 3 months ago. If Raymond is still trying to revive an old Mac he can start another thread.
