Wrist straps on clearance: perfect for an intro to leather tooling/stamping class

Tandy’s outlet site has some 12 packs of leather wrist straps with stud attachments on sale for $19.99

IMHO, at less than $2, these would be a good project for an intro to leather tooling/stamping class. I can’t give such class any time soon, but if someone else wanted to step up (@bitta, @Webdevel, or ???) these would be a good-sized project for a starting class.

I made some leather band bracelets with some of the leather I got at
a Zero landfill day, but I decided that the leather was too soft, it needed
a heavier leather behind it I still don t know if gluing it would work
and look nice enough or if it would need to be stitched,

These might be a good back for them

Crap! I promised I wouldn’t buy more art supplies

These aren’t “art” supplies: they’re “craft” supplies

We need to do s class on salvaging findings from old bags and such

I’m sure that argument will go over like a fart in a space suit. Lol probably not going to stop me tho

The metal on the picture I posted is fof a copper pipe strap from Home Depot

I’ve got project lined up for the next couple months already, but there were several people asking about tooling and stamping classes. While I know how to tool and stamp, I’m not very good at it, so I don’t think I’d be a good instructor for it.

I am poor on tooling but fairly decent on stamping
These would be good for a stamping class it looks like

I would be willing to teach stamping with small stamps
