Some days I really worry about my city. Is this really a thing?
In America - it’s all a sideshow, while our so-called elites manage our decline and all the while China is plannng global hegemonic dominance by 2050. (Anybody read President XI Jingping’s 3 hour marathon speech?)
I did and it should be chilling to freedom lovers.
But hey, we may lose most or our freedoms, but we’ll always have the sideshows.
It’s seems to be getting more popular. I had a friend invite me to one of those midget wrestling events. This was a few years ago in Burleson. He always seems to find the weird events.
I swear I remember seeing midget tossing on Wide World of Sports in the early 80s.
To each his own. I am sure there are people who think the same thing about building machines to toss pumpkins, gathering on a farm to send cardboard rockets hundreds or thousands of feet into the air, driving a bunch of cars around in a circle or any number of events in which a group of people gather to move a ball around in opposition to another group of people.
Just be glad we have the freedom to do things just because we want to.
