do any of our makers have a snow cone machine?
I’m throwing an event and would love to have snow cones. If you made the investment in a snow cone machine and are not using it, I would love to borrow Of rent it from you.
Event is the 20th of May.
Thanks,
Nick
Also it does get squirrely if not weighted properly has been known to toss ice. at people.

@Robert_Davidson do you know where I can get ice for that? Where can you buy block ice?
I used to grab the white buckets from Home Depot and fill them up with
water.
The mini buckets.
I’ve seen block ice at 7-11, but not all of them. I’ve also seen it at those standalone ice station things.

Emergency Ice sells block ice. You may be able to call them to get some or call them for a vendor that will sell it.
There is a company named Emergency Ice. Call them, I think they have what you need.

Like you are going to have time to run a snowcone stand!
What flavors?
@Robert_Davidson
could you bring this to the picnic? What all would we need to buy?
So what you’re saying is you have a “Snowball throwing robot!”

Sure should not be an issues.
Do we have power?
You would also need delicious flavors. I have found you can buy them from your favorite snowcone shop. IMO avoid restaurant supply houses.
I do believe we have a few outlets but I need to double check now that you just said that…
Ahh yes my favorite snow cone shop haha

I wouldn’t let that stop us. Worst case I can bring my genny if nobody else does.

I can probably donate left over syrup. I’m helping a friend that has a grand opening of their Auto Repair shop and wanted a sweet item for kids.

Second Robert’s warning here. I have tried Ace Mart’s & Costco’s Syrups. They suck hard for any pallet over 3 years old. Same with brew shops concentrates. We learned this the hard way when making sodas. Good flavors are not easy to get or cheap.
