this made me chuckle when thinking about the Canadian Sniper Shot from a couple months back.
That’s about 1760 yards, pretty good shot. As a budding long range shooter, I’d ask how many shots he made to hit it, and whether the wind was blowing. He has a cap on, so guessing mirage was no issue. A half-minute rifle should be able to keep all it’s shots on a normal sized pumpkin at that range, so not out of the realm of reason, especially with a known load.
