I purchased some envelopes and I’m going to try to print them tonight on the copier in hopes that this new system gives us a bit more accountability in the CA room. It’s something I’ve wanted to accomplish for awhile now and it’s all about getting stuff done and trying it out. Everyone will fill one out - even if they paid via paypal, they will include the payment in the envelope and put it in the donation bin. This will hopefully help us understand what is getting paid for, whats not and let us make some better purchases because of it.
Please take a second and check my information and see if it seems clear as mud. We have lots of information to include on this small envelope.
If it doesn’t work to print directly on the envelopes you could do sheets of labels and saddle someone with the task of sticking said labels on the envelopes.
Looks good to me.
A couple suggestions … Put General Art Media Donation first, because otherwise most people will stop reading before they get that far.
What is canvas paper donation? Is this different than the canvas/paper for the wide format printer?
Also, as a nit, I don’t think we have the ability to print 11x17 for Dye Sub. I think we have letter-sized and legal-sized paper.
When our new printer/copier is repaired you can do the envelopes in that.
Will need a different drop box - suggest similar to one FC uses (lockable mail box) we can put bracket on exterior to hold envelopes.
@uglyknees, The dye sub paper is 8.5x11 or 8.5x14. We cannot print 11x17 with the dye sub printer.
Ok sorry - Chris told me and I fixed it over here - I don’t know why I was thinking 11X17 paper was legal…I need a nap.
Having trouble pulling an all-dayer?
I didn’t notice Chris’ comment until after I replied. I think this is great.
I was thinking the watercolor or small canvas boards but its interpreted strange isn’t it?
Maybe reworded as
Painting boards/canvas/paper
?
I reworked it as watercolor paper/mat board hopefully it’s a bit easier to comprehend. I think it looks so clustered. We will try it out for a month and see if it works out for the better and adjust accordingly.
As a nit, I recommend staying away from the word “donation”. These funds are not donations. They are contributions, because people are getting something in return.
Creative Army Salvation Fund or CA Tribute Box
Tribute box has got quite a nice ring to it.
