Woodshop permissions

I was out of state for a couple of weeks and my membership lapsed. I thought it would be automatically renewed, but for some reason it didn’t go through. As aoon as I got back I renewed, but now my fob won’t let me access anything in the Woodshop. How can this be rectified? I should also be cleared for the fusion laser, and the slab mill although those are secondary concerns right now.

TIA

It just depends on how quickly the various woodshop machines refresh. I’m not sure – 30 min? 1 hr? After you’ve reconnected your fob to your account that is. The doors read Active Directory every time they are keyed, but the woodshop machines download AD at a longer interval.

we can log into whoami.dallasmakerspace.org & check group memberships to see what we’re showing for AD-controlled clearances.
I checked my best guess at this membership on the RFID controllers, and they’re showing a valid badge, same as appears in Maker Manager, so should be good.

Thank you so much, Maker Family!!

Well, the planer works for me but the jointer does not. I didn’t check the table saw yet. Why would this be happening?

Woodshop occasionally has issues with tools not updating their AD file At All. To me, that sounds like the issue you’re having.
