I’m interested in taking the class to make a wood pen on the lathe, but it says I need the lathe basics class first. Will this be taught anytime soon?

Will there be an introduction to the lathe class soon? I noticed that there was a woodshop class for building a pen, but I am not able to join since I have not had the opportunity to be certified on the lathe.

Would Sunday at 11 work? @amyrobertson and @Mariner522 ? I’ll put a class up if so - It won’t show on the calendar for 48 hours though - Let me know?

I should note that the pen class is mostly likely going to fill before Sunday, however I will teach another in early March.

Hi Amy - I probably won’t be back in until mid- late March - Hopefully one of the others tagged can get a class up or do a 1:1? If anything changes on my side I’ll PM.

And, the class is full. I was going to post a link, but I’ll wait to see if there are any cancellations.
So maybe I will shoot for EOM March to allow more folks to get signed off on the lathe. Or possibly in addition, will dust off my boots and do a lathe basics class early march as well. Lets see what I can fit into my schedule.
