Can confirm. It is correct.

To become certified to teach any woodshop course, you can show up to any regularly scheduled class and shadow the instructor, then teach the course with a certified instructor as a shadow. After a quick conference with the certified instructor following the last course you should be able to start teaching immediately. No need to wait for another teach the teacher event.
