Would it be a good place to ask questions about doing things with wood?
It’s more of a place for quick hits… “All lathes are full” or “this guy just activated the SawStop” or “is the delta hand wheel broken or just the knob?” and general Woodshop minutia.
Talk is probably better for things like “how do I join these two pieces of wood”, but it probably wouldn’t be unwelcome.

However, please take my word on it, as someone who’s been there and done that (and still does sometimes for legacy purposes) it’s not worth it. Just get a gmail account and use it for this kind of gunk. It also works nicely as a SPAM filter.
