Hi I am new to the Makerspace and am attending the woodshops basic class tomorrow morning. I haven’t had the chance to get an entry key, will there be someone to help me into the building?
Possibly. With luck, somebody who’ll be here may chime in. 9 am!! Yikes, I’ll be asleep.
I’m contemplating your best avenue. You could come to the front door, ring the doorbell and wait. I’m not sure who might be up front on Saturday morning.
And the other step would be to go to the back door – I’d go to the 2nd one from the north end of the building a little early and pound on the door. That’s close enough to woodshop that they might hear you. You might also be able to have someone arriving let you in. Most of us are willing to let somebody in.
I’m thinking the back door would be a better option. Given that it’s Woodshop, I would think that there’d be more traffic at the back door. And you could potentially stand up front for quite a while.
I should be here around 11 am and I can help you with a fob if nobody else has been able to help you before that. (Up front in the Common Room)
@TSki - can you help Olivia here? It looks like this is your class.
Will check the door before class - we’ll see about getting your fob working too.
