Wood Storage Questions

Hello. I am not a member but am thinking about possibly joining the Makerspace. Primarily interested in furniture building. I saw that on the Wiki there is a space for storing project items and such. But I wanted to ask a couple questions as I didn’t see a phone number to call.

  1. Can one store project materials overnight, i.e. if I do a glue-up, can I place it on a table or rack to dry overnight?

  2. What does the storage space look like? What if my project is half assembled and not just 4/4 boards laying flat?

  3. Is it reasonable/accepted for woodshop members to build furniture in the woodshop or does that usually take too much space?

It depends. You should probably drop by for a tour and look for yourself. It can be a challenge to build a large(?) piece unless you are organized and focused on completing it very quickly. During the holidays it becomes even more of a space issue.
