Doing major garden renos this weekend. looking to see if any Maker has a gas chipper they would like to rent out ?
1 inch is probably the biggest diameter but have yards and yards to chip
A 1 inch rated chipper generally only does 1 inch cylindrical stuff. Any forks, bends, etc are highly prone to failing to feed through. For branches up to almost 2" in volume, I highly recommend getting everything down and staged, and get a 4 hour rental on the 6 inch trailer chipper from HD. The power feed is worth it if you have a bunch. We ran everything under about 2 inch from two Bradford pears through one in a 4 hour rental with some lucky alignment that allowed for next day return. Even then, we had to cut some junctions apart that we guessed should feed.
