Will pay someone with CNC training to do a quick project for me. I will supply the wood etc. Needing this done asap.
Will be 5 of the aggravation marble games (see link): https://img1.etsystatic.com/148/0/9477624/il_fullxfull.1228699695_owpa.jpg
Some questions I think are bound to be asked:
do you already have the CAD files?
If not, are you asking this person to generate those, as well as do the cutting?
Do you already have dimensions, etc.
Is that 5x the same game, same wood, etc.?
Where is @Brian (he’s usually down for some of this…)?
I don’t have the file. I can either have some do it or pay a tad extra for the person doing the cutting to create the file. Yes, I have the dimensions, sizes etc.
It will be 5 of the exact same game yes.
I would love to help with the CNC but I’m still waiting on the trainers to review my class file and come test me. However, I threw this together for you or whomever can assist with the CNC. It’s based on a 20 X 20 inch board but would scale up or down as needed. If a trainer is willing to let me test out in the next day or 2, i’ll be glad to help.
I’ve enclosed the DXF file that I created in Fusion360. I’ve also created and attached the Vcarve file with the tool paths so it should be usable by someone who can assist with the CNC Machine.
I’m heading to the space now if there are any trainers willing to give me the test.
Aggavation_Board.zip (29.8 KB)Nice! Thanks so much Paul! Definitely keep me updated if you get trained quickly and are able to do this. Needing it fairly quick.
Better than Beetlejuice. Only saying the name once gets results.

Board is 2 ft x 2 ft
Holes are 3/4 inch wide and 1/4-1/8 inch depth
Space in between each circle/hole varies
That seems rather large to me. At a maximum 1/4 inch depth I believe that makes the marbles a few inches in diameter (to fit perfectly within the indents).
What diameter are the marbles?
Marbles are about half an inch. The board I purchased awhile back have 3/4 of an inch holes with a 1/4 of an inch depth and the marbles work great (easy to grab, but stay in the holes)
Board depth?
Wide shallow indents. Got it.
Board depth is 3/4 of an inch
Rounded corners?
Pretty much a perfect square. No rounded edges. I will supply the boards (pre-cut from home depot)
It actually works better if the stock is oversized / not pre-cut. When the MultiCam is used to cut the entire piece the alignment can be rough which saves some time.
Even better is a single stock for all five parts.
There are better places to get stock.
Yeah that’s no problem. I can just get one big sheet of wood.
Hi @bradyj92, I should have my test on Sunday afternoon and may be able to help with the game board Sunday evening if you haven’t found someone by then. Let me know. I have a piece of scrap plywood i’ll try the model with.
Whether I help you or Brian (or other), i’m happy to alter the model if you need. Regarding square corners or rounded, I can very easily change the model to put a fillet on the corner. Totally up to you. Let me know if you haven’t done it by Sunday evening and need me to help. Also, I agree with Brian, don’t pre-cut the plywood if you can help it. The Multicam will handle the whole thing, perimeter and all…
I’d PM you TN so the Googlers don’t index it (this forum is WIIIIDE open to the Internet)…
Yikes, good idea thanks.
