Who wants to learn to arc weld?

Pondering the possibility of another Arc welding for fabricators.

As the title would suggest I like to gear my classes more toward the fabricator than the welder so although the prime function of the class would be to learn how to turn the machine on and off, what not to touch and when not to touch it, I like to talk a bit about how to do things the “easy way” with emphasis on rod selection and technique.

I would like to mention that “the easy way” does not , in any way, take liberties with safety. All PPE’s will be enforced and the hot process safety class will be required. With enough response to this post I will make it so.

I have had an arc welding class in the past, maybe 2 to 3 hours tops but I’m not checked out on DMS Arc welders. I have Hot process and Mig, still need Tig also. But it sounds more like you might be teaching a bit on fabricating and I would really enjoy that opportunity.

I’d be interested.

I would like to learn

Depending on schedule, I’d be in

Count me in as well. Hot process class has been completed. I have some experience with mig/flux core welding.
Thanks

I’d like it…

I would sign up.
