Who Can Develop Slide Film?

I have a roll of slide film (E6) that I need developed (just the negatives, no slides or prints). Wolf Camera cannot do that. I also need some place that I can reach outside of regular business hours, as I work Monday to Friday. BWC is open only during regular business hours. Does anyone know of a business that could assist me?

Holland Photo Imaging in Austin still does this, I believe.

BWC (Dallas) still processes film, but I don’t know if they still do E6.

I can develop E6. What size? How many rolls?

I have one roll of ISO 400, 35 mm slide film; it’s probably 24 exposure, but I’m not sure. It’s years old, but I finished exposing it just last week.

I have another roll of film (don’t know if it’s slide film or not) that I’ve half-finished exposing. I’d like to get those last dozen exposure made and that roll developed, too.

I normally get just the negatives, then scan the negatives on my flatbed scanner, but you might have a better workflow.

Happy to scan if you want. Don’t have a better scanner per se, but I do
know how to get good scans efficiently enough. $5 per roll of 35mm and $5
per roll to scan.

Sounds great! I’d prefer to do my own scanning, unless you have a better process; I mostly need help developing my film. When could we meet?

I’m planning on holding a printer training class on Wednesday night at the
space. You can catch me then.

I’m on my way. I hope you will be there another hour.

Edit: I guess not; Pierce says you just left.

Sorry, looks like we missed each other. Are you or will you be close to
Deep Ellum any time this week?

No, Deep Ellum is far outside my usual scope of travel. I live in East Plano and work in West Plano.

I’m at the tollway and Headquaters right now right now.

Window of opportunity fading fast!

When will you be at the space next?

Leaving Plano. Catch up at the space some other time.

I don’t know. Maybe Saturday. I’m sorry that isn’t much of an answer.
