Where are our printers?

Please tell me our PolyPrinters are cranking out PPE.

I believe they are at polyprinter with all their print farm machines, printing face shield parts.

How did you get in there? I thought we were closed. Are we only partially closed??

The camera page is open for business as usual, though a bit boring these days…

Unless you meant how did they get in to move the printers out, in which case, I think that fell under social distancing, not actually open for business, and someone swings through the building occassionally for health & maintenance check…

“Dumb question but glad I asked anyway” moment. How often do the cameras update?

paging @yashsedai - this would be the sort of trivia you would know off the top of your learned head.

Technically speaking there is a maximum refresh rate (and I think it’s 5 minutes), but it only updates on demand. It looks at the old file it was serving up and if it’s older than X minutes (again, I think it’s 5) it pulls a new version.

It’s a tree in the forest and never updates if not looked at, and it’s not scheduled at an exact cadence etc.

This all assumes it hasn’t been rewritten since initial deployment.
