I do have trouble with the 1980s being considered “Yesteryears”. LOL
His videos ARE great fun.

I made some mojo pork with homemade rice and black beans.
Came out really good, but some small points of improvement for next time (for my tastes):
- move most of the salt from the marinade to the pork itself. I found that the pork was a bit undersalted and the sauce was a bit too salty.
- beans needed more salt. I had to put in some more when eating it.
