What type of wood to get?

Hello,

I want to laser cut and etch a game and am having trouble finding cheap thin plywood. Any suggestions for a thickness I should target or a good place to buy?

I’ve had good luck with 3 mm and 6 mm Baltic birch. A 1525 mm by 1525 mm sheet is fairly inexpensive. I think I paid about $15 for 6 mm. Central Hardwoods has served me well.

I’ll second Central Hardwoods. Make sure to let them know that you are from DMS when you order. I recommend calling them.
