What kinds of tips for TIG?

Hey all,

Just finished the class for the TIG welder, it was great! I now need to purchase tips and colets along with filler rod? I was told to get W280 from Amazon.

Those kits include a lot of parts that I do not feel like I need. The kit is around 56.00 bucks.

Am I looking at the right kit or can I buy from DMS the consumables?

If not can someone please give me the exact name and link to buy these things. I really dont want to buy a whole kit that I am not going to use all of the parts.

You will generally need them. Different cups produce different gas flows, holders wear down, etc. It’s usually wise to buy the kit.

We do not provide TIG consumables. There is occassioally filler on hand but you never know what you are getting.

I got tungsten aluminum pack if that helps. I’ll be donating the pack to metal shop once desk is done
