What is the process for becoming an instructor?

Specifically to teach 3D Fab 102 (Form2 SLA, pre-form, post-cure)

Start by having a conversation with the department chair and go from there.

Agree with LR, also ask an instructor that currently teaches. Our process is really pretty flexible.

I usually ask the individual either have had the class or shadow a class so they know what the class covers, especially for safety and usage rules. If you already have some skills you may be able to test out. For those persons, I ask they shadow a class.

Good luck and thanks for contributing to Makerspace’s learning experience!

It’s very similar to the way you begin a snipe hunt…

When I moved to California from Kansas, I found out they really do hunt Snipe.

Yeah we have guys that do it down on our ranch. I never have, but was considering it just the other day.

If you sell someone a federal duck stamp you have to ask if they hunted any snipe last season. I thought they were screwing with me when I was being taught how to sell them.

As for the op, like others said, talk to the committee chair and probably @talkers as he teaches the class quite frequently.
