What food do you make?

Basil oil? I bender basil and vegetable oil. then put that into a mason jar. Then that into a hot bath on a pressure cooker? Dry basil is ok but… Does it require something else for you to not lose the flavor in dryer?

I make batches of basil butter (for homemade olive bread) (butter, chopped basil, garlic, lemon juice, sugar). The basil butter can be frozen and thawed without any apparent degradation.
