An interesting website dropped onto my Facebook wall just now. It’s for UBiome, which sells kits allowing you to sequence the genome of your microbiome. You select the particular region of your body you want to sample (mouth, ears, nose, gut, or genitals), swab it, then mail it in to the lab for them to sequence. You are supposed to be able to track your microbiome over time, too, via a website.
