Richard P. Feynman was a notable American physicist. He worked on the Manhattan Project in WW II, invented the concept of nanotechnology and shared a Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on Quantum Electrodynamics (Q.E.D.). He was a particularly notable science lecturer, and his books and lectures are educational and entertaining.
