We replaced the RCBS press base plate last weekend

I came up with a good piece of raw seasoned oak last weekend and ran into Nick at the space and, between us, we replaced the RCBS press base plate model 1 Nick had made for us all previously. The solid oak should hold up to more abuse than birch plywood.

Thurman was going to look for the 7/8 die thread nut in parts for us - not sure that’s been found yet -

Anyone make use of the press since then?

Nick and I had noticed the RCBS quick change collar was worn and no longer locked in place properly. Hopefully Thurman found the piece and the press is again in service.

Tried the press out today. I though it was solid before, but does seem a touch more solid now. I wasn’t doing anything heavy like swaging, but feels like a great upgrade. Thanks @Axel_Ohmstede.

Also made a 3d printed grip for the new rifle. I fit in well with the 501st storm trigger armor build group.
