Hello, we are new members to Makerspace. We have an accumulation of Wurth automotive products we would like to donate to the Automotive department. How do we go about doing so? We spoke with the person who gave us our key fobs and he said we can’t just show up and drop off the stuff without first getting approval…? Thanks.

Donations must go through a chairperson or the board of directors. In this case if it’s automotive related I’d talk to @Brandon_Green.

I believe you need to reach “poster” level to PM.
So outside of that, mentioning the person (using the @ symbol and their talk handle) will notify them they have been mentioned (if they haven’t turned off notification for mentions)…
Not tools, supplies. I used to be a sales rep for Wurth (the company sells consumables for the body shop and auto service industry). So I have a heavy stock of demo products I would like to get rid of since well…I am not a car person, so I will never use them. I have:
Low VOC Carb & Choke Cleaner
True Glide (which is a lubricant)
Flexi-Trim Black Paint (it’s for under guards)
2-part epoxy
Elephant clamps
zip ties
Nuts/Bolts/Screws
Battery Terminal Connectors
Body Clips
Parts & Brake Cleaner
Tiny Auto Light Bulbs
And a handful of various similar items. I have boxes of all this stuff.
So…any interest in the auto dept having some supplies?

You should probably turn them down, because once you have their stuff, you won’t want anything else…

I will begrudgingly exert any effort required to find any refused items a home. Sellfess of me as that is, I do not require any thanks or accolades for taking such off detonator’s hands. Finding the stuff a happy home and the improvement to the living environment of the goods once in full service is reward enough for me. Any numerical positives resulting and/or accruing as a result of such endeavors shall also enjoy the same unfaltering selfless commitment. I will offer to quietly house them comfortably in security rich banking institution or the very finest warm, safe pocket in the world for securities requiring more individualized and immediate attention…
