Anyone know who put it there? It’s not hooked up or anything. It’s also sitting on a poorly-made wall shelf that is slowly coming out of the wall.

Neither are true
This is an ultrapure water purification system that produces lab grade clean water - nobody should drink this or use it for an application unless they’re sure it’s exactly the water needed for the application.
Good to know.
Please make sure to inform us when things of this nature are installed so we know who to call when it breaks or leaks. Otherwise it just goes in the dumpster

Regardless of whether it is hooked up and tested, labeling is in order for anything kept outside of a committee area.
