Wasteland and Cruel Bus made it on Drudge Report

Today on Drudge Report, I saw a link to an article on Wasteland. The link is: Mad Max meets Burning Man: Awesome photos show post-apocalypse style Wasteland Weekend | Daily Mail Online
and sure enough there is a good picture of the Cruel Bus in the article. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2018/10/16/21/5092498-6282699-image-a-98_1539720574135.jpg

And we only killed the distributor on the way and then the radiator fan exploded and threw a blade into the lower coolant line.

And then the carb clogged driving around in the dust.

It was an adventure for sure

For those of us that have only glimpsed the cruel bus a few times can you tell us about it? Who’s is it? How long have you been working on it? What’s on the inside? How many zombies could it run over before getting stuck?? The people must know! for reasons!

When running over zombies is the issue more slippage/tire grip or more bones/guts caught up in the undercarriage workings?

Good work guys!

It’s co-owned (now) by myself, Pearce, and two other members of our group. It’s a 1986 GMC G3500 Vandura bus conversion, 5.7L V8. I don’t have any good pics of the inside available at the moment, but it’s some car seats facing inward and some custom made metal shelving. Most of the original instrument cluster no longer works and instead we are using aftermarket gauges that we’ve installed. We first took it out to Wasteland in 2016, the trip this year was it’s 3rd trip out.
