Wasps in the parking lot?!?

Did the brave folks of metal and auto manage to rid us of wasps in the back parking lot?

I’m asking to avoid carrying $600 in epi-pens to DMS with me at all times. :frowning:

Perhaps we should add a flame thrower acquisition on the next board meeting agenda?

Where is the nest located?

I have had good luck using the wasp and hornet cans to wet down their nest from a distance.

Thanks for the alert. I have the same issue.

Just be sure to use the horrible stuff. The “green” sprays that use peppermint oils leave the bugs buzzing around for up to a day before they finally die. When the cans I have here get used up I won’t be buying any more of that stuff.

Hopefully they are nesting low enough to be suitable targets. I once had some so high I had to be about 30 feet off the ground before I could hit them with the spray can. I kept going back and forth across the front of the building on the sky lift, and spraying everywhere I saw one, or where they were entering or leaving the building.

Even before I finished the first can, I was wondering if I had a bad batch of the stuff, and abou half way through the second can things started slowing down. Turns out when I went back down, it wasn’t defective spray, there were hundreds of them on the driveway below.
