Does anyone have an old relfow oven they are interested in selling (under $100 or $200)?
I’ve tested the IR reflow oven at DMS a few times but the thing has too many quirks (only the 60% center part gets heated appropriately, cycle times between, etc.)
I also would like to double up the use of the oven for curing resin casts at low temps (150 - 180 F). I would rather recycle one than buy one or build one myself.

You have some pretty specific requirements and it sounds like the only thing that is going to work for you is a DIY toaster over rebuild. Doing that under $200 itself is difficult if your getting the heat curve and consistent heating you are wanting. The reflow oven in the electronics room is a strait out of china special as it is and is out of your budget at $268 delivered.

Thanks. I wouldn’t buy that special unless I only ever wanted to do 1 or 2 small boards at a time in which case a hot air gun would work better than that.
I was hoping just maybe someone here had a past build that was gathering dust that they’re either not using anymore or they upgraded/built a newer one.
Electric skillet plus temp controller works very well. Total cost about $130, using a Omrom ramp soak controller and Walmart skillet.
