āAnd here I am stuck in the middleā¦ā
vote them all out and start overā¦
Hmmmā¦vote an incumbent out of office. Is their competition any better?
Voting against candidates versus voting for candidates?
I have voted in every national and state election since Iāve been eligible. Iāve never been able to vote for anyone for President, and I rarely find someone I can vote for in most other elections. I almost always have vote against someone.
I used to think itās just that Iām cranky, but I find out that itās true of the vast majority of voters who arenāt policy wonks. I donāt know if this is a symptom of negative campaigning, polarization of the electorate, or the need for candidates to focus on voting groups. Itās hardly inspiring regardless of the reason.
My 2020 campaign t-shirt supported Statler and Waldorf ( the hecklers from the Muppet Show)
I think my most recent political shirt/sign want was for Gelnick McWawa. (From āCheersā)
Edit: oh hey, I found a copy of the āmemeā Iād made at the time.
My 2024 shirts are āRipley / Hicks 2024 - itās the only way to be sure.ā
And Pinky and the Brain - āMake America Narf Againā
Go third party in 2024:
Vote Cthulhu because weāre all tired of choosing the lesser of two evilsā¦
Are you thinking of putting it on a shirt? Iād be happy to help with any tweaks for printing, or was it just a fun political statement? Let me know how I can assist?
Iād really like to put it on a shirt. Iāve been wanting to take a screen printing class, but the timing hasnāt worked out yet.
