VW Golf Assembly Tonight

Last night we got the Purple Lightnings motor completely installed. The charge controller is still disconnected, because 140V is scary, and all the plugs look the same…

Regardless, tonight we will be reassembling the VW Golf that has been parked outside of DMS for over two years. From what I understand, the diesel engine has been reassembled, with a transmission, and is ready for install.

Come swing by around 7ish if you want to get dirty!

Wishing I could be there.
Love putting engines in VWs and starting them… (something I rarely get to do any more to ANY car, let alone VWs…)
