Looking to see if the woodshop or machine shop would be interested in any of the gear I have to donate. These were my grandfather’s tools that need a new home. I would rather see these go to a shop or someone who appreciates vintage tools than a landfill. Let me know if any of the shop are interested or even if someone on the site is interested.
Due to being new to the site, I can only attach one pic, so the drill press is below. Can send more.

Vintage Craftsman 113.24560 15” Floor Standing Drill Press

Well, it’s really honorable thing to want to donate those machines to the Makerspace due to the age of the equipment and the lack of safety. It wouldn’t be a good fit for the Maker space… however we have a free area if you want to arrange pick up with members that might want to put those in their home shop. I’m sure they would love it.
also look up radio arm, saw recall. Well, I learned to use that machine. I love them personally, but you have to be very careful and understand how the machine cuts and works to prevent from injuring oneself… hence the recall. Believe you might get anywhere from $50-$100 for the recall. they
@Garfield fyi, @bort_box got these off the truck and then put it by the electrical room / auction stuff. Hope you’re having a good one! I have now officially notified an adult
