It’s nice that the Navy is making progress with their laser. I think it is misleading to say that it blew up a boat or a plane, when all it did was blast some small chunks out of the same. Watching it reminded me of the way someone takes potshots at tin cans, so I call the laser the Navy’s little plinker.
