Hey,
With the addition of a poly printer setup for PLA, I’ve looked at different PLA options with materials infused. For carbon fiber and other materials, a hardened steel extruder with at least 0.50 mm output is required. Something like this. For wood PLA, the larger extruder is also recommended to avoid clogging due to the particles.
I’d like to procure one or two of these improved extruders- and I can do the leg work to ensure compatibility with the poly printer 229.
Is this the kind of proposal that needs to be voted on at a monthly meeting? If so I can put together a proposal. Otherwise, would it be possible to work a way to temporarily replace an extruder for specialty prints and swap back later?
Regards,
Justin
