the class for Photoshop photography was supposed to start after photography fundamentals to continue what is learned there and will be starting at 3:30 i made a mistake in class scheduling. it will still be happening at 3:30 today after the photography class.

the class had been mischeduled, it had suppose to take place after the photography class, this is the first class at the space i have scheduled,
my apologies, i came in for the photography class i taught at 2 and stayed at the space untill 7.
Hey if you know who came in as well i am more than willing to schedule some one on one photoshop classes at digital medias machines with those that came, my car was totalled thursday and i was busy Saturday with a dallas makerspace event at a museum. i had not caught the scheduling error.
with 9 people regestered and 3 showing up i thank you for appearing and can assure this shouldn’t happen again.
I do not know the names of the other two students.
I conducted a short workshop on Lightroom with one of the other students.
The third student did not know to bring a computer.
What have you learned from this?
calm down. he said he made a mistake with the first thing he scheduled on the calendar.
That someone seems to have overly high expectations of perfection out of volunteers who give up their free time to teach. He posted here that the time listed was incorrect as soon as it was noticed.
I have learned,
1 Free is not good enough
2 To be somehow more clear as there is no computer required
3 I am only so cordial to those who do not extend common courtesy to those who attempt to remedy their honest mistake to the full extent of their abilities.
This is a lesson i extended to our members, that i taught as a college course with my educational certification from adobe, more will be posted but i do not welcome such animosity to my classes.
I amended my mistake above before my other classes, and remained available untill 7 pm after i taught photography teaching people throughout the day. i can understand frustration at my mistake such is earned, but callous, gratuitous, apathy will harm membership and poison our volunteers willingness to give time. we make better makers as we are a makerspace.
