BTW It let me sign up for the open back pendant class on Sun 3/10, and it’s now showing -1 slots available. The “register” button is still active. Not sure why. I’m new to this system.

@Edenblue

This class, https://calendar.dallasmakerspace.org/events/view/10333

was set up with 6 free spaces and no paid spaces.

Edit: Zero paid spaces means unlimited number. I do not know what to do about this. I see 7 registered, but cannot see who paid and who did not.

@Bill Well, can we close it now? I’m ok doing a free class. 7 is a good number. Please:)

Not knowing how many of the seven registered are free vs paid, it set it to allow 1 paid and no free - the system let me. The class now shows full.

You are my hero!

No problem, will see you there!

I’m the one who signed up “free” since the instructions said you’d like us to bring the $5 to the instructor and last time I tried to sign up for a paid class it wanted me to pay online [I think.]

Sorry I messed it up. If 7 is too many, I can wait until a later class.

Thanks! :slight_smile:

You didn’t mess up it was me!! No worries, you don’t have to bring money and 7 is just fine😀

This one is up on the schedule now

I saw those shot glasses on the monthly show and tell, they are super cool! This might be a dumb question, but is their a specific grade of resin that’s food safe? Or is it all mostly food safe once it cures?

Each brand is different about that. We use a Polyurethane resin for these that is specifically FDA rated to be food safe. Best thing do to would be review the manufacturers data sheet prior to purchasing.

With enough alcohol it won’t matter… :wink:

Jorge is onto something. But this resin is art resin and is food safe.

Heck, I don’t even think food is food safe these days.
