Two leather hides from the airline sale

Short story:
I have two hides - a nice mid-tone grey and a buttery brown up for sale or labor trade or just cash. I live in Lewisville and now bonus live in Frisco over by the star.

Longer story:
Like many, our water pipes busted in the winter storm. Hellfire has followed suit and our relatively boring life is somewhat sideways. Stuff being boxed up, stuff getting tossed, water damage, moving but not moving, packing but not packing. Blah blah blah…I have no shoes and we now live in a beautifully empty apartment in the sky. We are lucky and fine but pissy and complainee with a pretty long to do list all waiting on insurance to say “yes, we see you have no house…let’s fix that” guess what people…insurance is a pain in the ass.

I have two very large hides and I’m not getting back to normal anytime soon to have hobby time at Makerspace and trimming down is this weeks to-do.
I believe I paid $60ish(???) for them and it would be nice to get something for them…possibly pizza money (with cheese bread) level possibly a trade a bit of labor I don’t know…I’m open to creative approaches…I also like straight cash. Figured someone here would be interested. I’ll be swinging by the house (in Lewisville) today and I will try to snap a picture of the color…but I think I posted a picture of them at some point here on talk if someone is curious enough to dig.

We are going to have an epic garage sale soon. But if anyone needs/wants a bathroom sink, room sized (not water damaged) rugs, closets of clothes, kitchen anything you just let me know and I’ll let you over to the whole room stocked with crap that’s just no longer wanted or needed. SO much.

This is NOT the leather in question but it is a generic “it looks kinda like this” pulled from a leather discussion:

What a pain. I was lucky on the third floor so no flooding for me but pipes burst in my building and flooded the lower floors. Now my apartment managers went under so we are under new management, yay! Hope you get insurance worked out soon so you can get back home

I’m interested in the grey one. Those sold before I got to the sale! Might be more interested in the brown, I’m realizing I have no idea what I’d call buttery brown haha

It’s such a pain. But it’s temporary. All will be well. Eventually. Thanks and sorry about your apartment buddies - that’s the worst.

FYI everyone who was effected should apply for fema assistance (we were denied because we have insurance and income level) BUT it allows you eligibility for a VERY low interest loan and also will swoop in after insurance is done from what I understand. Just wanted to let people know that.

I’ll send you a message and we will get all sorts of lined up.

@uglyknees

To clarify: were these affected by the water from the flooding or just in the way now?

Just in the way. I will triple check to make sure it doesn’t touch any water. If it did it will hit the bin with the rest of it.

Turns out, floods really suck, but you “get the opportunity” to balance storage costs with how much value/use the thing brings to your life with how much you want to pack up/move/unpack/move/potentially pack up again because you’re getting a new house anyways and with that equation just about everything can be purged to just the truly special…and for me that’s just people…and I’m trying to hang on to my suede yellow couch…because let’s be honest how many times in life do you have a chance to have a suede yellow couch.
