Do we have any hole saw bits at DMS, or should we bring our own for notching?

The unsatisfying answer to both questions is yes.

We have hole saws but like most cutting tools at DMS they have seen some abuse and IIRC are missing pieces.

My advice for all cutting tools is bring your own when you can.

Of course it’s not generally practical to bring your own bandsaw blades, but I would if I could.

I have some Bi-Metal ones I can bring. Thanks!

What size are you looking for?

I have a pipe that is 1.9" OD so whatever will work best for that.

We may have that size in the carbide variant. @Bizwacky bought us a replacement set last year. I dont recall the size range but we should likely have it. I’ll check when im in later today.

Where is this located these days? I remember reading a previous post about it being next to the Sherlines, but I couldn’t find it this morning.

It’s in the metal shop on the table or boxes close to the front. Randy was using it for the coffin racer and never put it back in the machine shop

Thanks Max. I found it, but It seems like I’m missing a threaded accessory to work with my hole saw bit. The one that was already installed has a slightly smaller diameter.

The fittings should be in the Red toolbox in Machine Shop. I believe it’s in the top box 3rd drawer down.
