Trying to convert some PDF foam airplane files

I’ve successfully converted some PDF files from flitetest.com to DXF files and imported them to RDWorks, using the guidance in the wiki here:https://dallasmakerspace.org/wiki/Flitetest_Planes

My problem is that the stroke colors in Inkscape are sometimes not imported into RDWorks and I’m perplexed as to why.

I’d love to have another application such as Adobe Illustrator to save the files in AI format, but I’m unaware of how to get to it remotely like I do for other applications on the jumpserver.

Do I need to be on premises to use Adobe Illustrator? Is there some magic incantation to get the colors to come across? I can provide an example if necessary.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

I just downloaded a trial of Corel Draw from their website and exported the DXF file I created in Inkscape to AI and amazingly the color imported correctly into RDWorks.

At least now I have a work around. I’m sure Adobe Illustrator would have done the export also.
