Trouble logging in - new member - 3D Fab printers

Hi, I’m a new member and having trouble logging in to the 3D @rinter computers. Is anyone here that can help? I went over to the main computer bank to see if my login works there

I also need to buy filament. Anyone know the process?

You need to take the training course before you can use the printers… Luckily you can take it online at learn.dallasmakerspace.org. It should also tell you the $/gram during the training.

Thank you. We just did that and got 7.37 out of 10. It won’t let us take the quiz again today. So is that it, i can’t use the printer today?

Probably. You’ve got to get a 10 to get access. Since you didn’t put this in the 3D Fab group, I’m going to page them – @Team_3D_Fab

Thanks. We’ll come back on Friday. My son really wants to learn this stuff but unfortunately for him has a mom to whom it does not come naturally….

I know you need a 100% to pass, wasn’t aware that it was a limit to the number of times you could take it.

There is a limit to how fast you can retake it.

EDIT: There is also a limit of four attempts.

Also, request your green dot. That will get you access to the members-only level for more and better exposure.
