Training on the cutter equipment

Anyone with sufficient “instructor” badging going to be around this afternoon/evening or tomorrow (before/after the HAAS class)?

I’d like to get the necessary safety/operation training to use the varying ways to cut bar-like material (namely, aluminum square bar) in the machine shop, if at all possible.

Or, if I’m doing it wrong (should I just show up and ask around?), let me know. :slight_smile:

I’ll be around tonight around 5:30 before the Chair meeting.
Sounds like you need the Evo-saw, bandsaw, and perhaps the coldsaw for your work. these take like 10 minutes each. The mill and lathe require a class.

I’ve taken the mill class (last Wednesday). I’m keeping an eye out for the lathe class.
