TPF - Prohibited Machines

Does the MKX machine fit this category?

Prohibited Machines – The Texas Pinball Festival will not allow certain types of games in exchange for free admission, either because of liability reasons, or because the games do not fit the atmosphere the TPF is trying to create. These include, but are not limited to, pachinko machines,** home television or PC console games**, Zizzle or miniature pinball machines, countertop touchscreen video games, redemption games, ride-on arcade games, slot machines, foosball and pool tables, skee ball tables and food or drink vending machines.

Nah MKX is totally welcome and this is the ideal venue to show off the work you’ve done at DMS!

This part made me raise a brow…

No pachinko? That’s racism!

While it may well have PC/console innards, it’s very much an arcade machine.

They’d rather not have people dropping off their old CRT and XBOX v1 at the door to get in free all weekend. Also, console gaming is more of a solitary thing on the sofa… not what TPF is about.

MKX looks awesome and gets people on their feet and talking. That’s the ticket!

OK Cool,

Me and @pitaya did a midnight gaming session on it last night, it works perfectly, so I’m considering it totally complete.

The new MK XL came out last night at midnight so i’m back in business after the guts swap.
