I came in today to practice after @Mrholthaus excellent class on the Tormach 8L. Mostly a success and this started me digging into the manual and some youtube videos, which led me to this interesting short video from NYCNC regarding the tool post moving on them and a few small modifications they made. Also of note, it looks like they cut off some of the length on their tools so they don’t hit the cover. Patrick had suggested this to me yesterday and this video seems to show the same; much shorter tool holder protrusions.
