I’ve been researching live steaming devices lately and would request if DMS could get something of the like.

Blackmagic Web Presenter (BMWP)

It turns your hdmi source: computer, dslr, camcorder, and encodes it to a signal that your computer thinks is coming from a usb webcam. The BMWP will take the hdmi/SDI signal convert it down to 720p when it pushes it into the laptop. It’ll also take two sources and let you seamlessly switch it back and fourth.
It would probably help to have a HDMI to SDI converter for the second source.
The unit also has XLR inputs.

Btw, our Sony RX-10 does a cleant hdmi out signal.

This will work with anything from skype to twitch.

These devices are insanely cool and useful for leaving a lot of CPU overhead on the streaming PC.

Currently I’ve been working on making a decent RTMP server with a Raspberry Pi and NGINX, which allows multiple people to stream to one server using free software called OBS, then input it back into OBS on the stream PC.

Not HDMI for cameras, but useful for display captures!
