Titanium Cutting on Plasma tonight (2019-09-10)

It can’t be too flammable, I have forged it in an open coal forge. I have a titanium leaf someplace.

It absolutely is flammable; the thickness of material, temperatures achieved, etc all play factors.

it’s harder to light, but once it’s going it’s gone.

In most metal fires, chips and dust are the common ignition source since protective oxide layers do not form readily on those surfaces.

Might be a good time to review how to use a Class D fire extinguisher.
Not the same as those other fire bottles…

Yup; it’s actually something I bring up in my hot process classes.
