Tickets still left for the leather journal cover class w/ the laser!

Hey y’all,

I know this is a bit late in the game, I meant to announce my class on here but never got around to it. Anyways, if you didn’t know or even if you did, I’m having a leatherworking class this Saturday, March 19th. We’ll be using the laser to cut and etch leather and then going through the steps on how to make it a cover for small notebooks, smartphones, passports, etc. The tickets are $20, with about $5 petty cash for laser fees, and there are still 5 tickets left! It’s limited to 10 people and should be really fun and informative!

Come make something new and learn some stuff! Here’s the link to the eventbrite: Eventbrite - Log In and Sign In.

Thanks,
Morgan

P.S. Here’s an example of what we’ll be making…

Your meetup says that it is at 2AM. Maybe supposed to be 2PM?

The meetup was made incorrectly. I asked for it to be fixed and it never was, but alas it is indeed 2 pm and NOT 2 am.

Curses, I have a wedding to attend tomorrow at 3pm. I’ll do the next one!

Do attendees need to have completed the basic laser class before this?

No, it certainly helps. But I can run the laser and show the steps, so that when you go to take the laser class you can just take the steps and apply it yourself.

Awesome, thanks! I grabbed a spot. Three left now I think

Going to be a great class. Saw the one she made, uber cool.

How big can the journal be? I’ve only got a sketchbook about 10x12(?)

After you take the class you’ll be able to rescale laser file to any size. The class provides the field notebook that goes inside.

You’ll being learning and practicing on a smaller back pocket size.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. It does. I thought it was bring your own.
