someone was obviously practicing welding a bandsaw blade (good for them). I found this one by the bandsaw. This probably wouldn’t work too well at that angle. It is important to use the break to get the ends a square as possible to butt up. cheers!

When practicing with the short stocks, it may be necessary to push one side in with a piece of wood. Otherwise they may get what’s pictured above.
must be that SPECIAL miter saw blade for those angle cuts…

It’s for cutting circles. LOL.
You know… The metal bandsaw had a welder. The woodshop generates tons of broken blades. If someone does want to practice…
and/or we would be happy to teach someone from woodshop how to use the welder. maybe cut down on the # of blades having to be purchased.
