This made me chuckle

someone was obviously practicing welding a bandsaw blade (good for them). I found this one by the bandsaw. This probably wouldn’t work too well at that angle. It is important to use the break to get the ends a square as possible to butt up. cheers! :grin:

When practicing with the short stocks, it may be necessary to push one side in with a piece of wood. Otherwise they may get what’s pictured above.

must be that SPECIAL miter saw blade for those angle cuts… :wink:

It’s for cutting circles. LOL.

You know… The metal bandsaw had a welder. The woodshop generates tons of broken blades. If someone does want to practice…

and/or we would be happy to teach someone from woodshop how to use the welder. maybe cut down on the # of blades having to be purchased.
