Thing-o-matic is alive!

Mitch and I worked for a couple of hours overnight on my old thing-o-matic.
The firmware is now updated to the latest sailfish revsion 720. We ran
out of time/energy to finish troubleshooting the extruder, but I was able to
print a 25mm open top cube with it. Not too shabby for something thats been
in storage for years. The current plan is to bring up my PLA from the house and
get it running well with it have a few small files on the SD card that the control
module can call up and run for demo nights, etc. Once that is done I will be taking
it back home and will bring it up on request by either of the chairs.

Note: the blue ABS on it is old but mine, please do not remove it.

ooooooooooooh kewlness! This must be the printer you and I were discussing not too long ago, right? I’m glad to hear it’s still cranking away 'n look forward to having it available for a great way to show off “Printers then and now” ~ so people can see how far they’ve come along!
